The Amsterdam Recharge Club – Beyond Burnout, a wellbeing initiative for burnout prevention and recovery, is forming a stichting. Seeking a Secretary to support governance, documentation, and board administration. 1. About the organization Amsterdam Recharge Club – Beyond Burnout (ARC) is a fast-growing community supporting people in burnout prevention and recovery through accessible, community-based wellbeing experiences. Since launching in February 2025, ARC has hosted over 90 events and built a strong, engaged international community of more than 700 people in Amsterdam. More here: [website verborgen]/ ARC is currently formalising as a stichting to ensure financial transparency, access public funding, and scale sustainably. To support this transition, we are looking for a Secretary to join the founding board. 2. About the role We are looking for a Secretary who is structured, reliable, and detail-oriented, and who enjoys bringing clarity and continuity to governance in an early-stage non-profit. In collaboration with the other board members, the Secretary supports the smooth functioning of the board and helps ensure that ARC’s governance and administration are well-organised and compliant. This is a voluntary, unpaid position, in accordance with Dutch law (reasonable expenses reimbursed), with an estimated 4-6 hours per month time commitment. 3. About you – Experience in an administrative, governance, legal, HR, or coordination role within a non-profit, foundation, or public-interest organisation – Familiarity with the Dutch regulatory framework for stichtingen – Fluent in English – Comfortable with documentation, meeting preparation, and written communication – Affinity with wellbeing, mental health, or burnout prevention – Personal experience with burnout (preferred) 4.
